WAYFARE | New EP from Poldoore, out Aug. 14, 2020 via Future Archive Recordings.
Belgium-based producer Poldoore has been making his mark on the electronic music scene since 2013. Mixing samples and live instrumentation into a dynamic blend that sits somewhere between moody laid-back and swirling upbeat, he has been featured at festivals like Gilles Peterson’s Worldwide Festival, Dour Festival, Tomorrowland, has released with a number of respected labels like Chinese Man Records, Cold Busted, Darker than Wax, Lowtemp, Nowadays Records, and has done remixes for the likes of Emancipator, Wax Tailor, Talib Kweli, Declaime, and Selah Sue.
‘Wayfare’, Poldoore’s debut release with eclectic indie & electronic label Future Archive Recordings, is focused on live instrumentation and an overall organic feel. The four track EP has a timeless and classic sound, weaving in and out of, and fusing, chillout, downtempo, jazz, and lounge genres.
Writes Poldoore: "For this EP I aimed to go back to the way I originally started producing music; chopping up and combining dozens of samples from different records/decades/genres in order to create completely new sounds and emotions. Only this time I wanted to apply this approach to my collection of live instrument recordings that I have gathered over the years, rather than to a library of old records. Limiting myself to a certain set of sounds and/or gear is something I’ve been doing more and more in the past few months, as it forces me to try out new things and be more creative with a limited sonic palette."
‘Alfama’ – the 1st and only single will be released via Future Archive Recordings on July 24, 2020, followed by ‘Wayfare’ on Aug. 14, 2020.

To put my words in perspective, I feel exactly like the album cover, I can't pick a favorite track. This album is up there with the greats! I've sinned and have tried to make peace with my demons, only the creator can judge me! Respect! The drum breaks and snares on some of these tracks are literally insane! Maudires
